Jennifer A Byrne
Professor Jennifer Byrne is Director of Biobanking with NSW Health Pathology, and Professor of Molecular Oncology in the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine and Health. Her current research aims to improve the reliability of the biomedical literature, both through developing and applying methods to fact-check published experimental reagent identities, and by investigating the operations and research productivity of human tissue biobanks. Her contributions to research integrity were internationally recognized when Professor Byrne was named as one of the journal Nature’s "10 people who mattered in 2017", for identifying and reporting numerous flawed cancer research papers.
